What Happens If I’m Late or Miss a Class? (遲到或缺課怎麼辦?)

Here’s what to expect if you’re late or unable to attend your scheduled class.

🔹If You’re Running Late

If you’re running late for your class, please join as soon as possible and send a message to your teacher to let them know.

You can message your teacher from My Messages (top right menu).
If you haven’t started a conversation yet, go to the teacher’s page and click Send Message below the Book Session area to open the chat.

Please note:

  • Teachers will wait up to 15 minutes for late arrivals
  • The class will still end at the original scheduled time
  • If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, the class will be marked as no-show
  • Classes missed due to late arrival cannot be refunded or returned

Example:
If your class is scheduled from 6:00–6:50 PM and you arrive at 6:10 PM, the class will still end at 6:50 PM.

🔹 If You Miss the Class Completely

For trial classes or single lessons

  • The class will be marked as completed
  • The lesson and payment cannot be refunded
  • Please contact support if there was an emergency

For package lessons

  • The lesson will be counted as used
  • The session credit will not be returned
  • Future lessons in your package remain unaffected

🔹 What If There’s a Technical Issue?

Before each class, please take a moment to check your internet connection, device, camera, and microphone in advance.
This helps ensure a smooth and enjoyable learning experience.

Issues related to personal equipment or network connection are generally not considered platform-related issues.

The platform is responsible for technical issues caused by the system itself, such as:

  • The class link is missing
  • The class link cannot be opened or does not work

If this happens, please:

  1. Go to My Messages and send a message to your teacher as soon as possible
  2. Kindly ask the teacher to provide a temporary class link if available
  3. If the issue cannot be resolved, please go to My Classes and click Report a Class Issue
  4. Select the appropriate issue type and attach a screenshot if possible

In rare cases where a class cannot take place due to a platform-related technical issue, the lesson may be reviewed for possible credit return.

📝 Tips to Avoid Missing a Class

  • Check your time zone before booking
  • Set a reminder 10–15 minutes before class
  • Join a few minutes early to test your connection
